Launched in the fall of 2024, Citylight is a vibrant, Christ-centered church plant with a mission to impact Dayton with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Worship Service – 11:00 AM
Christ-centered worship and practical, expository preaching. Nursery and toddler care are provided.

Equipping Hour — Sundays at 9:45 AM 

Bible study and discipleship groups for all ages. Kids enjoy age-specific classes, while adults engage in teaching and discussion. A light breakfast is served at 9:30 AM.

Lighthouse Groups 

Our home-based small groups meet throughout the week across Dayton and the surrounding area. Each group gathers for sermon-based discussion, prayer, and fellowship. They’re one of the best ways to build lasting relationships and grow in Christ together.

Our services are typically 1.5 hours long. We teach from the Bible practical and Jesus-centered messages. Our hope is that you will feel welcomed, inspired, hopeful, and challenged to create a better future for yourself and the people around you

There is no specific dress code when coming to worship with us at CityLight. Wear what is comfortable for you!

We love kids at CityLight! On Sundays at 9:45 AM, kids (birth–5th grade) have age-specific classes during our Equipping Hour — this is our main time for Bible teaching and discipleship.

During our 11:00 AM worship service, we offer nursery (0–2) and toddler (3–5) care. Children in 1st grade and up join their parents in the sanctuary with activity bags and helpers to keep them engaged. Parents also have access to a livestream room if needed.

All kids’ classes are led by background-checked volunteers with at least two adults in every room.

Right now, we don’t have a dedicated youth program because our church is still young and growing. But we value students deeply and welcome them to worship and serve alongside the whole church family. As more students come, we’re excited to launch groups and gatherings designed just for them.

Our worship is Christ-centered and heartfelt, blending contemporary songs with timeless hymns.

We don’t expect our guests to give. Giving is a way for our members and regular attenders to worship God and support the mission.

Just yourself! If you have a Bible, bring it, but we’ll also have the Scriptures on the screen.
